Mangatainoka Motors - Truck STOP Show and Shine

Tui Truck Stop Show & Shine: A Day to Remember!

What a day it was! Close to 200 magnificent trucks rolled in for a fabulous outing, turning our car park into a dazzling display of chrome and horsepower. The craftsmanship that went into getting these rigs into such stunning condition was truly impressive.

A massive shoutout to our incredible trucking community! Your hard work and dedication made the day a roaring success, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

And let’s talk about our amazing sponsors! This year’s prize pool was out-the-gate, with so many goodies that our prize winners needed multiple trips to haul their winnings home! A huge thank you also goes to our fantastic vendors, who added that extra sprinkle of joy to the day, and to all the spectators who came out in droves to check out the rigs—your enthusiasm fueled the fun!

With the dust settling and engines cooling, we’re already revving up for 2026!

Until next time, keep your wheels turning!

Our Judges

This year, we're excited to have Murray Sowerby and Brent Cooksley as our judges. Their experience and knowledge will be a fantastic additional to the show.

Murray was inducted into the New Zealand Road Transport Hall of Fame in 2019. In 1992, he assumed the role of General Manager for MTD, overseeing the Mack CKD Assembly Operations in Palmerston North—a position he held until his retirement.

Brent, affectionately known as "Cookie," has dedicated 47 years to working with the Mack brand in New Zealand. Few possess as much knowledge about Mack Trucks in New Zealand as Cookie, making him a true legend of the brand.

A huge thank you to both of them for so generously giving their time to be a part of the show.
